Welcome

Many non-governmental organizations (NGOs), as well as government agencies, are working on the front lines to implement projects aimed at recovery, protection, and conservation. From rescue and rehabilitation of wildlife, to restoring and preserving ecosystems and habitats and even lobbying in politics, these warriors are striving to make a positive impact in local communities around the world. By developing partnerships that serve the local people, they are also creating a sense of responsibility and empowerment for community wellbeing that includes what is best for the local ecosystem and all who inhabit it as well.

This blog was born out of a desire to share about conservation organizations all over the world. Each post will highlight a different conservation organization and the unique efforts and projects they are focused on. It is my hope that this helps you feel more personally connected to them and the work they are doing.

As they say in Swahili; Twende! - Let's go!
